Our Story

We opened shop almost 25 years ago creating collateral for the then burgeoning semiconductor industry. As our range of clients grew to encompass software, hardware, biotech, health care, government, energy, financial and consumer services, we began providing corporate identity packages, advertising and interactive media, bringing in new partners with expertise in strategic planning and new media technology.

Whether our clients come to us for a brochure, a web campaign, a user interface design or online community, they consistently get more than they asked for. That’s because we assume from the beginning, a partnership that assigns us the role of “brand steward”. As such, we develop the programs that are requested, but also bring perspective to the overall strategic role for any communications piece. Typically, in tandem with responding to a specific assignment, we look for the underlying truth about the brand, company or product. We develop brand strategy not in a vacuum but with an understanding of the prevailing trends of the category, the marketplaces and the lives of the ultimate consumers.

These days, in the “Age of Experiences” we have had great success identifying ways in which our clients products deliver on this ever-important value. We initiate projects based on this understanding, and you can see our work in our portfolio section.

As we’ve grown and evolved with the times, we’ve built a vast network of resources that allows us to operate with great agility so we’re often called in to jump start projects which are late getting off the ground. Once on board, however, we become part of the marketing team and, as such, our clients tell us that our greatest contribution is our ability to distill the complexities of their world into simple and relevant truths.
